About Keelings
Keelings is a well-established, Irish-owned family business with a significant presence in the food industry, employing over 2,000 individuals across five divisions: Keeling's Retail, Keeling's Market, Keeling's Select (Foodservice), Keeling's International, and Keeling's Solutions. The company boasts a turnover exceeding €350 million and is experiencing consistent year-on-year growth. We are currently seeking to expand our team at Keelings Lehenagh Beg, Cork, by hiring van drivers with a B or C licence.
The Role
This position involves ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of customer orders in compliance with order sheets and all relevant driving legislation. The role typically begins with early morning starts, from 5:00 am, depending on the assigned route. Successful candidates will be scheduled to work any 5 days out of a 7-day week, with opportunities for career advancement within the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Accurately load, verify, and deliver customer orders.
- Manage and maintain all documentation related to deliveries.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure all signed delivery dockets are returned to the supervisor.
- Maintain the vehicle in excellent condition.
- Complete all required vehicle check sheets.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of one year of professional driving experience.
- Ability to perform physical manual handling tasks.
- Proven competent driving skills with a full, clean driving license.
- Excellent customer service skills, characterized by a positive attitude and the ability to connect with clients.
- A friendly and enthusiastic demeanor with a keen eye for detail.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for food and a commitment to exceptional customer care.
- Proficiency in English.
Licence Required
- Possession of a B, C, or C1 Driving Licence.
- Previous truck driving experience is mandatory.
- Candidates must have their own transportation to reach the Keelings site to collect the company van.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Cork, County Cork, Ireland.
