Role Overview
Newprint is hiring an in-house UX/UI Product Designer to craft clear, attractive, and easy-to-use web and mobile application experiences. The role is based at 25-2450 Lancaster Road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
What You’ll Do
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user journeys for web and mobile products.
- Use user research and usability testing to guide and validate design choices.
- Work hand in hand with developers so the final build matches the intended design.
- Improve interfaces for adaptability across screens, accessibility, and smooth performance.
- Keep yourself current with evolving design trends, tools, and industry practices.
Must-Have Experience
- Hands-on experience working with Flutter developers.
- A portfolio that includes examples built around Flutter materials and design patterns.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma.
- Solid grasp of user-centered design thinking and principles.
- A portfolio showing completed web and mobile design work.
