Role overview

Qatar Airways is looking to add an Upholsterer - Workshops to its MRO engineering team in Doha. This position focuses on aircraft furnishing work and component upkeep in a maintenance environment where quality, safety, and compliance are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Build and restore aircraft component furnishings as required by workshop operations.
• Complete assigned tasks within the expected turnaround time.
• Carry out all work in line with company quality expectations and technical standards.
• Maintain full compliance with airworthiness and safety requirements, including manufacturer guidance.
• Follow regulatory maintenance rules, including EASA/QCAA Part 145 requirements, while performing component maintenance.

Qualifications and experience

• High School qualification, Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent credential, along with at least 2 years of relevant job experience.
• Prior hands-on exposure to upholstery work is required.
• Ability to use, operate, and look after tools or equipment related to the work area.
• Understanding of equipment maintenance, correct operation, and safe handling practices.
