Role overview

CARGO COUNTY GROUP is hiring a Transportation Logistics Supervisor to oversee day-to-day logistics operations in Bolton, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time position in the transportation and freight forwarding environment within the private sector.

Education

College or CEGEP level education is required.

What you will do

Oversee the planning and coordination of the organization’s operational logistics.
Work with other teams and departments to keep activities aligned.
Prepare and file reports as needed.
Monitor computer systems and machinery to help ensure uninterrupted operations.
Schedule maintenance and repair activities when required.
Troubleshoot operational issues, offer technical guidance, and suggest improvements that raise productivity and product quality.
Train staff on their duties and company policies.
Assign, coordinate, and review work performed by team members.
Order or request materials, equipment, and supplies.

This role supervises a team of 3 to 4 people.
