About the Role
Join a global testing, inspection, and certification organization that supports quality, compliance, and sustainability across industries. The role focuses on telecom inspection activities, with an emphasis on verifying materials, installations, testing, and documentation against approved drawings and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine quality checks on incoming vendor materials and products.
- Identify and reject any materials or products that do not meet required quality standards.
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications to fully understand the scope and requirements of the work.
- Record inspection findings through detailed reports and performance documentation.
- Verify communication equipment and cable installation activities to ensure they match approved drawings.
- Observe testing and configuration work for communication switches, servers, and related systems.
- Inspect structured cabling systems, telecom tower materials, and the installation of towers and antennas.
- Examine the termination work for fiber, RF, and coaxial cables.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering within a relevant inspection discipline, along with at least 4 years of related inspection experience; or
- A 2-year industrial/technical college diploma plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant inspection experience.
- Strong understanding of applicable international standards such as BICSI.
- Solid working knowledge of quality system standards and inspection methods.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- CBT pass in PID-Communication Inspector is preferred.
