About the Company

Role Overview
This position is focused on brewing operations, including machine operation, basic maintenance, and process control. The aim is to ensure safe production and quality performance at the source.
Key Duties
- Operate and observe equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements at all times.
- Carry out shutdown procedures according to the SOPs.
- Run machines at the specified rated speed.
- Record information and keep reporting systems updated.
- Keep equipment and nearby work areas clean and hygienic.
- Ensure output consistently meets quality standards.
- Use equipment only within its intended design parameters.
- Follow quality trigger points as defined in the SOPs.
- Work with the digital tools and platforms adopted by the business, including Orbis, Harford, and STRATA.
- Perform autonomous maintenance tasks such as CILT and apply LOTOTO where required.
- Use the escalation matrix whenever a process deviation or breakdown occurs.
- Support the safe operation and proper upkeep of machinery under indirect control.
- Carry out look-listen-feel inspections and raise work requests when needed.
- Troubleshoot operational issues using problem-solving tools.
- Apply MMS best practices and help sustain them.
- Complete equipment changeovers and make necessary adjustments effectively.
Experience and Qualifications
A diploma in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Biological Science is required. Candidates should also have at least one year of experience handling machines and performing autonomous maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

This is a regular, full-time, onsite role based in Mwanza, Tanzania.
