Role overview

This is a senior, hands-on Supply Chain Manager position for someone who wants full ownership of the function rather than a purely coordination-focused role. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain end to end and driving performance across planning, procurement, logistics, systems, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

You will take charge of demand planning and inventory management for approximately 250 SKUs across five markets. This includes building the planning model, maintaining the forecast, and deciding when and what to purchase.

You will also manage procurement and supplier performance, covering the full purchase order process, supplier on-time-in-full performance, and landed cost control across the supplier base.

Another core part of the role is overseeing third-party logistics performance across five countries, including fulfilment service levels, inbound freight, and readiness for peak trading periods.

Fulfil will be the main ERP system used as the source of truth for all supply chain activity.

In addition, you will lead and develop a small operations team that includes both onshore and offshore members.

What you need to bring

You should have at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or operations within eCommerce, D2C, or retail. The company is looking for someone who has had genuine ownership of forecasting or supplier relationships, not just reporting on them.

Strong practical experience in demand planning and inventory control across multiple SKUs and markets is essential.

You must have directly managed suppliers and 3PL partners, including regular hands-on communication with warehouses and vendors.

Experience using an ERP, WMS, or planning platform is required, such as Fulfil, NetSuite, Cin7, ShipHero, Mintsoft, or an equivalent system.

People management experience is also needed, including leading teams across different time zones.

Clear written communication and a data-led approach are important, along with the ability to prepare concise updates proactively.

Nice to have

Additional value will be given to candidates with Fulfil ERP experience or a comparable ERP background, familiarity with AI-supported forecasting tools, experience managing supply chains across markets such as Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada, and a strong eCommerce background with extensive Shopify exposure. A genuine interest in health and wellness is also considered a plus.

Growth opportunity

This role is designed as a long-term growth position. As the business expands and the operations function develops, the successful candidate may progress into broader operational leadership responsibilities.

Working setup

The role is fully remote and can be done from anywhere in New Zealand or Australia. The expected start is September 2026 so the person can be in place ahead of the company’s peak season. The environment is lean, fast-moving, and offers significant ownership from the outset.
