Subject Matter Expert

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced subject matter expert who will help advance NewVision’s platform products, including nv.design, nv.EBS, and related solutions used in upstream oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and extend the functional scope of nv.design, nv.EBS, and other NewVision platform products.
• Work in close coordination with the CPO, business analysts, software engineers, and the UI/UX team to turn product ideas into working solutions.
• Contribute to planning and delivering the product roadmap for nv.design and nv.EBS.
• Take part in pre-sales discussions, pre-project surveys, proof-of-concept work, and consulting assignments in the capacity of an ESP subject matter expert.

Experience and Technical Background

• Solid background as an ESP application engineer.
• Hands-on experience as a production technologist responsible for ESP performance and control during well operations.
• Working knowledge of the software and real-time tools used for well performance monitoring in this role.
• Good understanding of the physical and mathematical basis of well and artificial lift behavior, including PVTs, correlations, and anomalies.

Personal Skills

• Modern, creative, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Strong English communication skills; Russian language knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and accept accountability for deliverables.
