This role reports to the District Manager and is responsible for leading the store’s daily operations, supporting the team, protecting standards, and driving commercial results. The position requires strong ownership of store performance, guest experience, compliance, and team development.
What you will do
- Oversee the full day-to-day running of the store and coordinate with the District Manager to deliver top-level operational performance.
- Lead the team in line with company virtues, operational standards, and brand expectations.
- Handle recruitment, pre-boarding, onboarding, and future talent planning for the store.
- Build team capability through coaching, development plans, feedback, in-store training, and team meetings.
- Create a guest-first environment and strengthen local guest relationships to improve loyalty and repeat visits.
- Maintain a safe, clean, secure, and healthy workplace by enforcing hygiene, health, and safety rules.
- Plan shifts effectively based on seasonality, local events, traffic patterns, budget, and contractual or legal working-time rules.
- Manage employee absence, onboarding, and off-boarding while following contractual, union, and legal requirements.
- Take full responsibility for inventory control, including stock counting and ordering, while keeping waste within target.
- Drive sales, control costs, and improve store EBITDA against defined KPIs and company initiatives.
Performance focus
The role is measured on store compliance, employee engagement, guest satisfaction, and financial outcomes. Key indicators include hygiene standards, pest and fire safety controls, overall compliance, employee turnover, quick quits, returning guests, app conversions, complaints, waiting time, product availability, store audits, sales, waste, salary cost, productivity, overhead cost, and 4-wall EBITDA.
