Stock Manager

About the Role

Platypus Shoes is seeking a motivated Stock Manager to join the Joondalup store in Heathridge, Western Australia. In this role, you will work closely with the store leadership team to help drive sales, support team performance, maintain smooth day-to-day operations, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver a high standard of in-store service while working with premium products.
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and key performance indicators.
• Take responsibility for opening and closing duties, including late-night trading shifts.
• Assist management with day-to-day leadership of the team.
• Handle large incoming and outgoing stock volumes efficiently.
• Pick and pack click-and-dispatch orders accurately.
• Help keep the store running well by supporting housekeeping, visual merchandising, and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain a positive, can-do approach when serving customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong availability and flexibility to work 38 hours per week.
• Retail experience is preferred, though not essential.
• A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and creating a memorable shopping experience.
• Genuine interest in streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Confidence working in a busy, energetic, and fast-moving team environment.
• Self-drive and the motivation to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• The ability to listen carefully and act on feedback in a constructive way.
