직무 설명
About the role
Uber is hiring a highly analytical, proactive, and collaborative operator to join its Global Membership and Loyalty team as a Senior Strategy & Operations Associate. The position plays a key part in advancing important near-term priorities across both the Membership and Loyalty areas.
The person in this role will serve as the single operational owner for key strategic verticals within the Membership and Loyalty organization. You will translate internal and external data into practical insights, build support for your ideas across the broader company, and convert concepts into actions that improve core business metrics.
You are expected to take charge of a major strategic area and run it like a business unit: spot opportunities, shape the plan, and deliver with urgency and focus. This is suited to someone who works well with broad direction rather than constant supervision and can confidently take on complex work with minimal hand-holding.
What you'll do
- Own a strategic area from start to finish, leading the strategy, execution, and business results for that vertical.
- Work independently to identify gaps in the business, form clear viewpoints, and create practical action plans without needing a detailed roadmap.
- Use data to shape business cases and push initiatives forward from idea to implementation.
- Bring together cross-functional partners, manage uncertainty, and keep projects moving.
- Handle recurring high-visibility processes and lead executive reporting cycles such as MBRs and QBRs so leadership has clear visibility into performance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in strategy, operations, analytics, consulting, or a comparable role, with proven ability to own execution end to end and operate with limited oversight.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, technical, or related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of AI tools, SQL, and Excel or Google Sheets, plus experience creating dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to turn raw data into meaningful recommendations.
- Comfort with ambiguity, initiative, and high ownership, along with the ability to drive work from concept to execution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for influencing a broad range of stakeholders.
- History of identifying insights that shaped strategy or produced measurable business impact.
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting routines such as MBRs and QBRs.
- Exposure to external partnerships management and/or business development.
Compensation and benefits
The base pay range for this position in New York, NY is USD 131,000 to USD 145,500 per year. The same salary range applies to San Francisco, CA-based roles. Full-time employees in the US may also be eligible for Uber's bonus program, an equity award, and additional compensation elements. Employees are eligible for a 401(k) plan and other benefits.
