Role Overview
This position sits within the Trust & Safety team and focuses on content moderation and marketplace integrity. The product manager will own both the strategy and delivery for tools and systems that identify, review, and respond to content that breaks policy. The work spans operations, data science, and engineering, with a focus on building scalable machine learning-enabled solutions that protect platform trust for large user communities.
What You Will Do
- Create and steer the product roadmap for moderation systems and trust & safety tools.
- Collaborate with data scientists to spot useful machine learning opportunities, support the creation of training data, and assess model quality.
- Work with customer care, moderation operations, and outside BPO vendors to understand daily workflows and improve their efficiency through better tooling.
- Turn complex safety and moderation challenges into practical product specifications and scalable solutions.
- Set the right success metrics and measure how moderation improvements affect overall platform health.
- Keep track of new abuse patterns and changes in content moderation best practices.
Candidate Profile
The team is open to two background profiles: either a mid-level product manager with direct experience in trust & safety or content moderation, or a senior product manager without direct domain experience but with strong exposure to data products, machine learning, and operational complexity.
