About Numa

Numa is a hospitality company focused on reimagining how travellers experience cities. It develops carefully designed rooms, studios, and apartments in central neighbourhoods across Europe, combining modern design with streamlined technology.

The company aims to improve both the guest journey and the way hospitality works behind the scenes. Its technology-led approach supports efficient operations while keeping the focus on genuine, high-quality stays without hidden charges.

Numa also promotes a workplace culture built around curiosity, authenticity, creativity, and meaningful contribution. The organisation emphasises diversity, inclusion, and equity, and values different perspectives as part of its innovation culture.

About the Role

As Senior Interior Designer, you will help shape Numa’s evolving design language while keeping it aligned with both the brand identity and the feel of each local neighbourhood. You will work closely with the Head of Design and regional Design Managers to create spaces that feel distinctive, practical, and on-brand.

You will also support the Research & Development team with updates to brand concepts and improvements related to furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Design and regional Design Managers to develop interiors that balance Numa’s brand aesthetic with the local character of each location.
  • Contribute to brand concept refinements and FFE innovation together with the R&D team.
  • Act as the technical reviewer for construction documents and specifications submitted by landlords, architects, and contractors, ensuring the design intent is protected.
  • Prepare complete tender packages for the FFE scope, including layouts, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Work with regional Project Managers and visit sites to verify that the finished product matches the intended design quality.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to keep design proposals and FFE specifications within budget while maintaining strong visual impact.
  • Collaborate early in projects with Real Estate, Revenue, and Operations teams to build space programmes suited to each market.

About You

You bring extensive interior design or architecture experience, ideally gained in hospitality or multi-unit residential projects. You are confident working in technical environments, comfortable with BIM-based workflows, and capable of mentoring junior colleagues. A proactive, hands-on attitude is important for success in this fast-moving setting.

Skills and Tools

This role requires strong technical design capability, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage quality, budgets, and documentation across multiple stakeholders.

Additional Information

Numa supports a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcomes candidates of all races, ethnicities, disability statuses, ages, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations.
