Role overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a highly regarded commercial construction business in Melbourne. The company is known for award-winning delivery across institutional, healthcare, commercial, and education projects, and has a strong forward pipeline of work.

In this position, you will contribute to major tenders valued between $50M and $300M+, helping shape the strategy behind bids rather than only producing estimates. You will work alongside the Pre-Construction Manager, take ownership of the submission process, guide junior team members, and support the pursuit of the business’s next major projects.

What you should bring

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian commercial construction estimating, including both hard-dollar and ECI work. A successful track record on tenders for projects above $30M is important, along with confidence using CostX, Buildsoft, or Cubit. Established relationships with subcontractors and suppliers will also be valuable. A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is preferred.
