About the Opportunity
Dijitally is supporting Airwallex, a fintech company founded locally and now operating globally, as it looks for a Senior Creative Designer to help shape how the brand communicates visually. Airwallex builds the infrastructure that helps businesses move money internationally, enabling them to scale with greater speed, confidence, and control.
This role is for someone who goes beyond producing assets and instead creates, refines, and elevates creative work. You will transform complex briefs into clear, memorable ideas and design systems that connect across multiple touchpoints.
The position sits at the meeting point of brand, storytelling, and product. You will work on assignments ranging from global campaigns and product narratives to sales materials and internal initiatives, ensuring the output is both visually strong and strategically effective.
What You Will Do
- Develop original creative concepts that translate Airwallex’s value proposition into engaging, human-centred, and visually distinctive stories.
- Produce high-quality design across campaigns, digital experiences, product communication, sales collateral, and internal content.
- Simplify complex B2B and fintech ideas into clear, persuasive creative that is easy to understand and compelling to view.
- Work closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to shape ideas that are strategically aligned and creatively ambitious.
- Expand and refine Airwallex’s visual language by creating templates, guidelines, and scalable campaign frameworks.
- Explore new approaches, including motion and interaction, to evolve the brand’s presence across static and dynamic formats.
- Carry projects from early concept development through final rollout, ensuring ideas are translated cleanly into execution.
- Contribute to critiques, support peers, and help strengthen the overall standard of creative thinking within the team.
What You Bring
- 6 to 9 years of experience in visual design, brand design, or creative communications, ideally gained in an agency or fast-growing technology environment.
- A portfolio that shows both strong conceptual thinking and polished execution across multiple formats.
- The ability to design with systems, campaigns, and narratives in mind rather than only single assets.
- Solid command of typography, layout, colour, and visual hierarchy, along with good judgment on when to break conventions.
- Comfort working across presentations, landing pages, campaigns, social content, and motion-related work.
- A collaborative working style and a preference for shaping ideas with others rather than working in isolation.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with motion or interactive experience considered an advantage.
Role Details
This is a fixed-term full-time contract running until 31 December 2026. The working model is hybrid, with most work done remotely and some in-person collaboration at the Sydney office.
