Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson position in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this role, you will connect with both new and existing customers, explain DomainLink’s offerings, and help them choose the right solutions for their online business goals. The job involves prospecting for leads, carrying out sales calls and face-to-face meetings, preparing and presenting proposals, and staying in touch with clients to close sales and build lasting relationships.
You will also be responsible for keeping sales records updated in internal systems, working closely with marketing and support teams, and sharing customer feedback as well as market insights. Success in this role depends on meeting sales goals, communicating information accurately, and representing the company professionally at all times.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective and current customers to introduce and explain DomainLink’s services.
- Identify potential leads and pursue opportunities through calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
- Prepare proposals, present solutions, and support clients in choosing suitable products or services.
- Maintain strong client relationships and work toward closing deals effectively.
- Record sales activities and customer interactions in company systems.
- Coordinate with marketing and support teams to improve the customer experience.
- Share feedback on customer requirements and emerging market trends.
- Consistently work toward sales targets while maintaining a professional image.
Requirements
- Good customer service abilities and a strong approach to building client relationships.
- Confidence in listening to customer needs and explaining solutions clearly.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including lead generation and deal closure.
- Ability to work toward defined targets and remain organized across multiple prospects.
- Basic familiarity with online services, websites, domains, or similar technology products, with a willingness to learn more.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills; knowledge of a local language is an added advantage.
- Effective time management and documentation skills.
- Comfort working on-site in a team setting in Addis Ababa with a proactive and accountable mindset.
- Previous experience in sales or other customer-facing roles is preferred, and exposure to technology or digital services is a plus.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.
