About the Role

The Wine Shop is seeking a customer-focused sales professional in Scarborough, Ontario. The role is centered on helping guests choose the right wine for dinners, celebrations, gifts, and everyday enjoyment while creating a welcoming and knowledgeable store experience.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver a consistently high level of service so every customer leaves satisfied.
• Support customers with purchases and offer product guidance when needed.
• Receive product deliveries and help with merchandising activities, including light shelf and display cleaning.
• Accept payments, handle cash responsibly, and reconcile the till accurately.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and security procedures.
• Work collaboratively as a dependable member of the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commitment to guest service and customer care.
• Previous experience using computer-based point-of-sale systems and handling cash is considered an advantage.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Valid Smart Serve certification.
• Comfort using Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
