Room Leader

Overview

Only About Children is seeking a Room Leader for its McDowall campus on a 12-month maternity leave contract, with a strong possibility of continuation beyond the initial term. This role offers the chance to step into a leadership position within a friendly, tightly connected campus community.

Campus Environment

The McDowall campus is a welcoming early learning setting located opposite McDowall State School and is easy to reach by bus. It features outdoor play spaces designed for different age groups and is backed by a supportive leadership team. Role Summary

In this position, you will lead your room with confidence, imagination, and care, while supporting children through a play-based learning approach aligned with the EYLF. You will also mentor and support other educators and help create an engaging environment where children can grow and thrive.

Ideal Candidate

This opportunity suits an experienced educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent, who is ready to take on a leadership role or further develop their leadership skills in a supportive environment.
