Retail Store Manager

Role Overview

Best Buy Canada is looking for an immediate hire to lead one of its Calgary retail locations as a store leader. In this position, you will shape outstanding experiences for customers and employees, guide your team toward strong sales performance, and contribute positively to the communities you serve.

This role is equivalent to a retail store manager or general manager position and is referred to internally as a store leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full store operation, including people leadership, coordination with other business functions, and vendor relationships.
• Lead, coach, develop, and motivate assistant store leaders, team leads, and advisors so they can help customers choose the right products and services.
• Build an inclusive, engaging, and learning-focused team environment while keeping the workplace enjoyable.
• Track and improve store performance measures such as revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, and health and safety.
• Protect and improve store profitability by maintaining a strong profit and loss performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings deep retail or hospitality leadership experience in a busy, high-volume setting, along with a demonstrated ability to lift sales results and manage operational performance.

Location Details

You may begin in Deerfoot Meadows or Sunridge. After that, placement may be permanent at any Calgary store location, including Calgary 17th Avenue, Deerfoot Meadows, Northland, Shawnessy, Sunridge, and Westhills Calgary. Reliable commuting to these locations is required.
