Retail Sales Representative

Role Overview

We are hiring a Retail Sales Representative for a full-time, on-site position in Pune. The role is centered on delivering a strong in-store experience, assisting shoppers with product discovery, and helping the business achieve its sales targets. The right candidate will be approachable, persuasive, and attentive to customer needs, with the ability to resolve concerns quickly and professionally.

What You Will Do

• Welcome customers, guide them around the store, and help them find the right products.
• Share clear and correct details about product features, pricing, and post-purchase support.
• Respond to questions about individual products and services in a helpful manner.
• Compare options and prices to support buying decisions.
• Recommend add-on products and support cross-selling efforts.
• Keep shelves and racks properly filled and organized.
• Handle merchandise returns and coordinate related follow-up.
• Work closely with the retail sales team to maintain service quality during busy periods.
• Inform shoppers about current promotions, discounts, and special offers.
• Pass customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Stay updated on newly launched products and services.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should have strong spoken and written communication skills, along with the ability to read and understand product information clearly. Prior experience in retail sales, customer-facing sales, or a similar role is preferred. A solid understanding of how the retail sales process works is important, as is familiarity with customer buying behavior and basic inventory stocking practices. A degree is not mandatory; candidates may be graduates or self-taught.

Experience

This role is open to freshers. Any prior sales experience will be considered an added advantage.

Salary

The starting pay is INR 15,000 per month, with compensation aligned to industry standards.
