Role Overview

This position focuses on keeping the store clean, orderly, and ready for customers, with particular attention to floor maintenance. The role also supports broader store operations through cross-training and assistance in multiple departments as needed.

Key Duties

• Maintain a neat and well-organized store, with primary responsibility for floor care.
• Use cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, and complete dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and glass/window spot cleaning.
• Follow company standards for operations, merchandising, and loss prevention.
• Help maintain cleanliness and recovery standards across the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
• Refill essential supplies in the lounge, restrooms, and front end in line with health and safety expectations.
• Support front-end coverage and other store areas through cross-training.
• Assist with merchandising presentation and signage standards.
• Take part in store recovery work throughout the day when needed.
• Follow labor laws, break and meal policies, and company procedures.
• Communicate clearly with managers and coworkers, and complete other assigned tasks.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate delivers strong customer service, works well in a team, stays organized, and pays close attention to detail. The role requires flexibility, the ability to handle changing priorities, and the physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor equipment. The position may involve lifting heavy items, with or without reasonable accommodation. Retail customer experience is preferred.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $13.25 to $13.75 per hour. Final starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
