Role overview
This is a rewarding opportunity for a Research Assistant to support the BOOST-3 trial, a randomised controlled study designed to assess how effective video feedback intervention is for positive parenting, as well as the mechanisms behind it and the best way to target it. The study focuses on mothers and birthing people experiencing moderate to severe non-psychotic perinatal mental health difficulties, together with their babies. The project is funded by the National Institute for Health Research.
The role combines office-based work with travel to participating clinical sites and to participants’ homes.
What you will do
- Recruit participants and gather trial data across perinatal mental health and parent-infant services in the region.
- Make sure the study is run in line with Good Clinical Practice, relevant clinical trial legislation, and GDPR requirements.
- Track study progress, check that delivery stays aligned to the project plan, and spot and resolve issues at trial sites quickly.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with participating services across the region.
- Support recruitment of mothers and birthing people through the participating perinatal mental health and parent-infant services.
