Overview

The Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest is hiring a Research Assistant, Level I for a temporary full-time assignment of up to 12 months in Toronto, Ontario. This role supports a wide range of research and evaluation work related to aging and brain health within the Kunin-Lunenfeld Centre for Applied Research & Evaluation (KL-CARE).

KL-CARE functions as a service and support center at the RRI, collaborating with healthcare professionals, researchers, trainees, non-profits, and commercial partners to enable clinical, applied, and evaluation-focused research both at Baycrest and in broader settings.

This position is non-union, works day shifts, and requires 70 hours over a bi-weekly pay period. The position number is 9677.

What the role involves

The Research Assistant will contribute to several research and evaluation projects focused on older adults and brain health. The work spans multiple stages of the research process, from participant engagement to data handling and document preparation.

  • Supporting participant outreach, recruitment, and consent procedures
  • Reviewing medical charts and extracting relevant data
