Role overview
This is a senior regional leadership opportunity focused on building and scaling APAC technical service delivery from the ground up. The position calls for someone who can turn service operations into a profitable regional function, while balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.
The ideal background is in medical devices or medtech, with proven experience creating or transforming service organizations in complex, regulated markets.
Strategy and service design
- Set the APAC technical service direction for the medium and long term.
- Shape the full customer journey, including ease of access, convenience, tailored support, and flexibility.
- Create a service model that is competitive today and scalable for future growth.
Operational improvement
- Run the function with a data-led approach and identify where processes can be simplified or improved.
- Standardize technical service delivery across different countries and market conditions.
- Assess current operations in a structured way and convert findings into practical, scalable improvements.
Cross-functional leadership
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to keep customer experience priorities aligned.
- Strengthen organizational capability through coaching, mentoring, and workforce planning.
People leadership and culture
- Lead and motivate a regional team to perform at a high level.
- Encourage accountability, recognition, inclusion, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Promote ethics, compliance, and company values throughout the organization.
Customer and field engagement
- Stay closely connected to customer needs through direct field engagement.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, distributors, and channel partners across the region.
- Maintain a strong customer-voice perspective in decision-making.
Candidate profile
This role requires deep industry experience in medical devices or medtech. You should understand the regulatory landscape, customer expectations, and commercial dynamics of the sector. The position is suited to a proven service leader with strong commercial thinking and a clear P&L orientation.
