Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to support project cost management and commercial control across construction activities in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for assigned projects.
- Examine drawings, specifications, and tender packs to support accurate pricing and scope review.
- Track project expenditure, evaluate cost performance, and keep budgets under control during delivery.
- Draft tender-related documentation and support procurement activities.
- Measure executed work, and compile interim valuations as well as final account statements.
- Handle variations, change requests, and claim assessments in a timely manner.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to maintain effective cost discipline.
- Confirm that work aligns with contract terms, project requirements, and applicable local rules.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of Quantity Surveyor experience in the UAE.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost estimating, and project budgeting.
- Practical experience producing BOQs, tender documents, and cost reports.
- Strong analytical thinking, numerical ability, and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Capability to manage several projects at once while meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
