Role overview
Saipem is seeking a Purser to support personnel logistics and onboard administration for its Qatar project in Doha. The role sits within a global engineering and construction environment focused on major onshore and offshore energy and infrastructure work, with an emphasis on operational coordination, people support, and compliance with company roster arrangements.
Key duties
- Coordinate crew and personnel arrivals and departures according to the management roster and arrange accommodation accordingly.
- Handle administrative support for personnel on board.
- Work with travel and marine agencies to manage travel planning and logistics for personnel.
- When needed, assist the Master/OIM with managing training records and certificates.
Required profile
- Strong communication abilities.
- Very good command of English.
- Comfortable working under pressure.
- Careful and detail-oriented approach.
Terms and working conditions
- The assignment is for 12 months, with the possibility of extension depending on company requirements.
- Working schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 9 hours per day.
