Role Summary

This position is centered on demand planning and broader supply chain coordination. Key Duties

  • Assist the Demand Planning Manager with the day-to-day running of demand planning activities, including upkeep of planning systems and databases.
  • Support supply planning work tied to manufacturing, balancing supply with demand, and the S&OP process, including forecast revisions when needed.
  • Maintain accurate data in planning tools and track inventory performance against KPI goals.
  • Review the master production schedule and compare planned output with actual production.
  • Create, review, and interpret inventory reports on a regular basis, including analysis of slow-moving stock and aged inventory reduction actions.
  • Help execute supply chain initiatives on schedule and within established guidelines.
  • Contribute to contingency planning for major changes in demand or supply disruptions.
  • Monitor finished goods inventory to avoid excess stock and prevent stockouts.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and plants to share updates, anticipate service risks, and take corrective action early.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, introduce better practices, and support efficiency and cost-reduction efforts.
  • Assist in implementing inventory management systems and methods that improve stock control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain practices.
  • Experience using supply chain software, especially SAP.
