About AIOS
AIOS Medical is building Europe’s first fully integrated AI doctor. The company is already operating at scale, with more than $300M in annual recurring revenue, over 140k patients served each month, and growth above 10x year over year. It is profitable and positioned as one of the fastest-growing healthcare businesses in Europe.
The company’s initial growth engine is GLP-1 care, which it sees as the entry point into a much broader healthcare platform. AIOS is the only AI-native GLP-1 provider in Europe. Its longer-term plan is to expand from leading the UK market to scaling across Europe and eventually building a vertically integrated healthcare system that includes patient care, prescribing, dispensing, and manufacturing. The team believes the only way to keep pace at this scale is to replace marginal human effort with AI wherever possible.
AIOS expects to serve 100 million patients worldwide by 2035 and aims to use that infrastructure to deliver affordable, next-generation healthcare at massive scale. The company is young, founder-led, and still very early in its journey.
Role overview
This is a senior product design role with high ownership. You will work across both clinical software and customer-facing mobile app experiences, helping shape products that have scaled quickly and now need stronger design structure, judgment, and leadership.
The role involves taking ambiguous problems from definition through delivery. You will work closely with engineers, product leadership, and CX teams to understand user needs, internal constraints, and business goals, then turn those inputs into solutions that can be shipped with confidence.
The work may include customer app flows, internal workflow tools, CX-driven product improvements, and other design challenges that sit at the intersection of usability, operational needs, and regulatory constraints. This role reports to the Head of Product Design and works closely with the Head of Product and the wider product, design, engineering, and CX functions.
This is a full-time remote position. The team works asynchronously where possible, with flexibility in hours, but you should be able to overlap with both European and US time zones.
What you will do
- Own design work across products from problem framing through to launch, with independent responsibility for delivery.
- Improve customer-facing web and mobile experiences, with mobile app design being a major part of the role.
- Design internal tools and workflows used by clinical, operations, enrolment, and customer support teams, with a focus on speed, clarity, and efficiency.
- Solve complex product problems where commercial, legal, and regulatory limits shape what can be changed.
- Start from the underlying user need and business objective, then explain clearly which problem you are solving and why.
- Lead discovery, speak with users or internal stakeholders, define solutions, and take projects through to shipment.
- Communicate design decisions clearly, defend your thinking, and participate confidently in discussions where opinions differ.
- Help shape the design function as the team grows while staying hands-on with the work.
What you need
- At least 3 years of experience designing digital products for web or mobile, including customer-facing apps or internal systems.
- A portfolio that demonstrates real product work, your design judgment, the constraints you worked within, and the impact of your decisions, including finished screens.
- Comfort working with vague problems and moving them independently toward a shipped outcome without needing constant direction.
- A strong focus on clarity and usability, with the ability to improve products even when technical limits or existing systems cannot be changed freely.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain tradeoffs, reasoning, and decision-making with confidence.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers and understanding how design choices translate into implementation.
Preferred background
- Formal design education, or equivalent depth developed through experience in product work, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience designing for regulated or operationally complex products where rules, compliance, or business constraints influence the user experience.
- Exposure to shipping work with engineers and thinking through implementation details in practical product environments.
Working style and culture
AIOS describes this role as one of the most demanding and rewarding opportunities in the company. The team is mission-driven, highly ambitious, and expects a strong commitment to execution, honesty, urgency, and ownership.
The company values include belief in the mission, uncompromising integrity, comfort with ambiguity, extremely high standards, direct and transparent communication, a strong sense of urgency, frugality, resourcefulness, a bias toward focus, and a willingness to stay grounded while building something large.
The team emphasizes creating exceptional customer experiences and making each product decision in the customer’s long-term interest.
Compensation and benefits
The role includes above-market pay plus early-stage equity. The stated compensation range is $90,000 to $150,000 per year, including equity.
- Compensation: $90,000-$150,000 per year including equity
- Healthcare: comprehensive medical insurance where applicable
