Role Overview
This contract position is for a writer with a strong background in nuclear operations and maintenance. The work is based in Waynesboro, Georgia, and is centered on developing operational and safety procedures in a controlled, regulated environment.
Key Experience
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma along with hands-on nuclear experience and a maintenance background in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, or I&C. Experience with procedure development and familiarity with nuclear processes are essential.
Core Expectations
The role requires at least five years of experience creating operational and safety procedures within a regulated setting. Candidates without prior nuclear experience will not be considered.
Additional Information
- Journeyman-level experience is considered an advantage.
- Planning experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of D2 is preferred.
- Experience in nuclear operations, maintenance, and work management would strengthen an application.
