Private Housekeeper

About the Role

This is a full-time, live-out housekeeping position in a private residence in Yerevan, Armenia. The role comes with relocation support and a paid trial period, and it also involves international travel, so a valid passport is required. The position offers a salary of up to USD 2,000 per month.

The job is practical and detail-heavy, centered on keeping the home spotless, orderly, and running efficiently. You will be responsible only for housekeeping and upkeep of the living areas, while a private chef and an estate manager handle other household functions. The right person should be highly self-reliant and confident managing household appliances on their own. Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to check manuals, solve appliance issues, or identify the best method for cleaning and maintenance tasks is essential.

Housekeeping Duties

• Maintain every room in excellent condition, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and shared areas.
• Carry out daily floor care such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Dust, polish, and clean furniture, fixtures, and all exposed surfaces.
• Keep bathrooms thoroughly cleaned, sanitize fittings, replace towels, and restock toiletries when needed.
• Remove rubbish and handle waste disposal across the property.

Laundry and Linen Care

• Take full responsibility for laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding with a high level of precision.
• Handle delicate clothing and fabrics carefully according to care instructions.
• Manage bed linen, towels, and household textiles by rotating, storing, and maintaining them properly.
• Keep wardrobes and storage spaces arranged neatly and consistently.

Organisation and Household Upkeep

• Ensure rooms remain tidy, well-arranged, and free of clutter at all times.
• Track cleaning inventory and report when supplies need to be replenished.
• Use and care for all household appliances safely and correctly, including the washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, steam cleaner, and similar equipment.
• Use AI tools to locate appliance instructions, troubleshoot problems, and determine appropriate cleaning approaches for different surfaces, fabrics, and materials.
• Stay ahead of household needs and take initiative before being instructed.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on housekeeping experience in a private home, villa, or similarly high-standard residence.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to maintaining a refined living environment.
• Ability to operate and care for household appliances independently and safely.
• Regular use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude as part of daily work is mandatory.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Discretion, reliability, and respect for privacy are essential.
• A proactive, dependable, and initiative-driven working style.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally at short notice.
• Must be based in Yerevan or open to relocating there, with relocation allowance provided.

Schedule

The working pattern is up to 6 hours per day, Sunday through Friday, with Saturdays off.

Compensation and Additional Details

Salary is capped at USD 2,000 per month. A paid trial period is included. The role is live-out, and relocation allowance is available for candidates moving to Yerevan.
