Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Examine, create, and refine policy materials, legal agreements, proposals, and research documents using advanced Word and PDF capabilities.
• Offer practical guidance and recommendations on matters related to regulation, law, healthcare, academia, or finance.
• Carry out detailed reviews of documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, readability, and alignment with best practices.
• Assist with formatting, tracked edits, form completion, and information extraction from client documents.
• Work with teams across functions to turn complex information into concise policies and procedures.
• Keep current with changing rules, standards, and guidance connected to your subject-matter area.
• Present conclusions and recommendations in polished written and spoken formats.

Required background

• At least 3 years of professional experience in government policy operations.
• Strong command of Word and PDF workflows, including track changes, formatting, review, and data extraction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
• Proven experience preparing, assessing, and editing complex policy or regulatory materials.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments and deliver under tight deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong accuracy and a commitment to high-quality output.

Preferred experience

• Background working with Fortune 500 clients or on prominent regulatory, legal, or policy initiatives.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams to drive results.
