Role overview
An opportunity is available for a motivated Salesperson / Parts Interpreter to join a friendly and experienced team in Burnie, Tasmania. This position suits someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and working in a busy, practical environment. The role also offers training and support, so candidates with auto parts experience or a strong interest in learning the industry are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Handle sales enquiries and process orders received by phone or through online channels.
- Assist customers directly in-store with product and parts needs.
- Receive incoming stock and support inventory handling.
- Prepare, process, and pick purchase orders.
- Maintain the showroom through merchandising, pricing updates, and general presentation.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant communicates clearly, presents well, and is comfortable building customer relationships. A strong phone manner, the ability to influence and negotiate, and the skill to turn technical issues into simple solutions are important.
