Role Summary

We are seeking an energetic Parts Interpreter to join the busy Mackay branch in Paget. This is a practical, fast-moving position where you will partner with customers and colleagues to help keep trucks on the road and businesses operating efficiently. The work is varied, and your efforts will have a real impact every day.

Key Duties

• Serve customers in person, by phone, and through email.
• Identify, interpret, and source parts for trucks and trailers.
• Handle sales transactions, orders, credits, and invoicing.
• Use parts systems and catalogues to locate suitable solutions.
• Assist with warehouse activities, dispatch tasks, and stock management.
• Help maintain an orderly, efficient, and well-run branch.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience as a parts interpreter, or a background in automotive, mechanical, or trade-related work.
• Solid customer service capability.
• Well organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident using systems and open to learning new tools.
• Dependable team member with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of truck parts or heavy vehicle components.
• Experience in automotive retail or workshop environments.
• A valid forklift licence (LF) would be an advantage.
