North America is in the middle of a major industrial rebuilding effort, yet there are not enough people to do the work. In construction, productivity has actually moved backward: crews often lose time to waiting, searching, and coordination instead of building. Bowser AI is developing the platform that helps every worker on a job site get more done. The company records what is really happening on job sites, identifies what delivers results, and expands proven improvements across operations. It is closely partnered on design and development with one of the largest mechanical contractors in the United States and is supported by E3 Tech, an investment firm launched in partnership with a16z.

The Role

This is Bowser AI’s first dedicated operations hire, joining a company that is growing quickly and already has deployments at sites across the continent. The position is highly hands-on rather than supervisory. You will work directly with the CEO across the business, helping customer deployments go live and succeed while also running the internal systems that allow the founder to stay focused on product and customers. The scope includes everything outside engineering, and some responsibilities will feel similar to an executive assistant role. What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the daily execution for customer deployments, including onboarding, scheduling, logistics, and follow-through that keeps pilots moving forward.
• Manage internal business operations such as coordination, hiring logistics, contract and vendor administration, marketing support, tooling, and support for the data room and fundraising process.
• Serve as a strong right hand to the CEO by preparing materials, tracking down open items, and ensuring tasks do not fall through the cracks.
• Convert unclear objectives into completed work with limited guidance.
• Create and improve the simple operating processes a scaling startup needs, while avoiding unnecessary complexity.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a high-output generalist with an unusually fast learning curve. You should be able to absorb new subject matter quickly and put it to work right away, and you should bring at least one of the following backgrounds:

• Experience in construction operations or other field-based / industrial settings.
• Experience working with machine learning, AI-native workflows, or similarly technical environments.

In addition, we are looking for someone with around 2 to 5 years of experience in operations, consulting, chief-of-staff work, startup environments, or executive-assistant-track roles, or someone who can demonstrate equivalent raw ability. The right person will be highly organized, practical, resourceful, and low-ego, with a strong sense of ownership so that anything they handle gets finished. Clear written and spoken communication is important, as is comfort working through ambiguity and a willingness to do whatever is needed. The role also requires the ability to travel to the US occasionally. Early-stage startup experience is a plus.

Location

Pacific Time is preferred, and Eastern Time is also acceptable. The role is remote-first, with occasional travel.
