Role overview
ENVA is hiring a Cleaning Operative for its Grantham site. The purpose of this role is to keep office areas clean, safe and hygienic, so employees and visitors can work in a pleasant and well-maintained environment. The position also supports smooth day-to-day operations through careful waste handling and recycling practices.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning duties to keep workspaces tidy and presentable.
- Separate materials into the correct designated locations.
- Store cleaning chemicals in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Check incoming SDA materials and fridges to confirm they meet recycling standards and company expectations.
- Follow all health, safety and environmental requirements, especially those linked to chemicals and cleaning products.
- Raise any safety issues or equipment faults without delay.
- Work alongside colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily targets.
- Ensure daily tasks are completed consistently.
- Keep the work area orderly and compliant with company policies, risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
- Escalate issues to the HSE team when needed.
- Take on other reasonable duties relevant to the role, provided you are trained and qualified to do so.
