The role also includes distributing both urgent and non-urgent force protection threat reporting and assessments to supported commanders, including six AFCENT forward-deployed units in the CENTCOM area of responsibility and one CONUS-based unit.

- Build understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities, as well as U.S. and partner CI methods, tactics, techniques, and procedures, and use that knowledge for advanced all-source CI research and strategy support.
- Develop and deliver training materials and instruction on collection-operation techniques and related processes tied to human intelligence and technical intelligence activities under DoD authorities.
- Make sure finished products follow ICD and AFOSI requirements and are uploaded into the correct databases.
- Keep current knowledge of host-nation intelligence and security structures.

- Produce detailed foreign intelligence and terrorism analysis products as directed by AFOSI or USAFCENT leadership.
- Merge intelligence and raw data from multiple sources and classifications to identify threats, trends, terrorist cell structures, locations, and attack indicators on a daily or weekly basis.
- Support collection management by assessing field reporting on terrorist group structures and relationships with other organizations and state-sponsored actors targeting the DAF/DoD.
- Help create target packages intended to reduce threats to 24 EFIS, subordinate units, and DAF/DoD personnel and assets in the USCENTCOM/AFCENT area.
- Prepare briefings on hostile group relationships, scope, identification, and potential impact when requested by AFOSI leadership and other customers.
- Build and maintain liaison links with military and national-level agencies.
- Ensure all products and briefings comply with security classification rules, restrictive caveats, and dissemination controls.
- Deliver mobile training and advisory support to AFOSI units across the USCENTCOM AOR to standardize analyst and agent workflow and improve the intelligence cycle.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for strategic engagement efforts such as Defense Threat Assessment Methodology Seminars and Crime Scene Exploitation Programs.
- Travel frequently, including extended OCONUS assignments, and provide support at CONUS and OCONUS locations as mission needs require.
- Keep a current passport and visa status and remain globally deployable, including medical clearance and any other required items.
- Include source citations in all products according to ICON guidance.
- Follow applicable governing documents and produce work that is accurate, properly formatted, and free of grammar and spelling issues.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 6 years of all-source analytical experience using HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, or OSINT.
- At least 1 year of full analytical support to counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and/or HUMINT operations, with that experience ending within the past 3 years.
