About the Role
Vertex Edge Media is looking for a motion graphics designer to shape cinematic documentary content for YouTube and other digital channels. The position is centered on storytelling, visual clarity, and polished execution rather than high-volume production.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys turning complicated information, data, and narrative ideas into visuals that feel immersive and easy to follow.
What You’ll Do
- Build motion graphics, animated sequences, and visual segments for documentary-style videos.
- Develop maps, timelines, explainer visuals, data-driven graphics, and cinematic treatments that support the story.
- Work hand in hand with editors and writers to strengthen the narrative flow.
- Translate complex topics into visuals that are clear, engaging, and accessible.
- Offer creative ideas that improve the final documentary output.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong working knowledge of After Effects and associated design software.
- Prior experience producing motion graphics for documentaries, explainers, or educational content.
- Solid sense of pacing, storytelling, and how to organize visual information.
- Ability to work on your own and take responsibility for deliverables.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong motion design quality.
Work Style
- The emphasis is on craft and quality, not on producing a large quantity of content.
- You will be expected to handle 6 long-form documentary projects each month.
- The role offers room for creativity and ownership.
- You’ll join a team that values careful thinking and attention to detail.
Compensation
The role offers an annual salary of ₹4 LPA.
Additional Information
If your idea of strong work is creating visuals that make explanations feel like part of the story rather than a separate overlay, this opportunity is likely a good fit.
