About the Organisation
Kiran Foundation Trust runs a healthcare-support initiative focused on helping families through medical emergencies. The work includes doctor guidance, hospital coordination, AIIMS and government hospital navigation, patient assistance, and urgent support. The broader goal is to make sure families do not feel isolated, helpless, or unsure when dealing with serious health situations. With support from doctors, volunteers, and healthcare advocates, the initiative is building a caring and accessible healthcare-support network across India.
Doctor Saarthi is the healthcare support and medical navigation platform under Kiran Foundation Trust. It is designed to make the healthcare journey easier by linking patients with the right guidance, hospitals, doctors, medical information, and support services.
About the Internship
This opportunity is suited for medical students, healthcare students, young doctors, and motivated volunteers from the medical field who want hands-on exposure to healthcare support, patient guidance, medical documentation, and hospital coordination work.
What You Will Do
- Support patients by guiding them through medical processes and coordination steps.
- Assist in connecting with hospitals, doctors, clinics, and diagnostic centres.
- Draft medical documentation and prepare case summaries.
- Liaise with doctors and internal teams to keep coordination smooth.
- Contribute to healthcare awareness activities and outreach efforts.
- Handle sensitive information responsibly and follow ethical standards at all times.
Eligibility
Applicants must be available for part-time internship work, be able to join between 28 June 2026 and 2 August 2026, commit for 6 months, and have relevant skills and interest in the field.
Location
This role is based in Bokaro Steel City, India, with opportunities across Bokaro Steel City, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Koderma, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Chatra, Simdega District, Ramgarh, Gumla, Khunti, Deoghar, Giridih, Hazaribagh, and Palamu.
Compensation and Benefits
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 6,000 to INR 35,000. Additional benefits include a certificate, a letter of recommendation, and flexible work hours.
