Role Overview
This position focuses on checking mechanical equipment, systems, and construction work to verify that everything aligns with engineering specifications, recognized industry standards, and quality expectations. The job also contributes to the smooth delivery of construction and plant inspection activities while upholding safety and quality controls.
What You Will Do
- Carry out inspections of mechanical equipment, systems, and construction-related activities.
- Confirm compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, codes, and quality requirements.
- Support inspection work during construction and plant execution activities.
- Monitor safety and quality standards throughout inspection tasks.
Required Background
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Prior experience as an API Inspector in plant inspection services is expected.
- Hands-on exposure to inspections for industrial facilities, process plants, or pipeline construction is needed.
- Strong understanding of inspection standards, codes, and quality control practices is important.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
- The role calls for strong technical judgment, analytical thinking, and interpersonal ability.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical inspection and quality assurance is relevant for this role.
- API certification or another related inspection certification will be viewed positively.
- Final selection will consider work history, training, education, technical capability, soft skills, and overall professional presentation.
