Key Responsibilities

• Review business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Create, update, and run manual test scripts, with automation exposure being a plus where needed.
• Log, monitor, and manage software defects using tracking platforms such as JIRA.
• Carry out multiple testing types, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT support.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders to resolve ambiguities and strengthen test coverage.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Help improve testing methods, documentation quality, and overall QA processes.
• Maintain full traceability between requirements and test cases.

Required Skills and Background

Experience with Microsoft Power Apps in retail-related use cases such as timesheets, allowances, cash discrepancies, staff management, and staff allocation is expected. The role also calls for solid SQL knowledge for database-level validation, comfort with Agile/Scrum delivery, and strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills. ISTQB certification is preferred.
