About the Company
This role is with a Montreal-based outerwear and apparel brand that is expanding quickly. The company is known for producing clothing that blends style, comfort, and performance, and it operates with an international supplier network.
Role Overview
They are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee import and export activity, coordinate shipments, support purchasing, maintain accurate costing information, and keep supply chain records up to date. The position is based in Montreal and is entirely on site.
This opportunity is especially suited to someone who has worked in garments, fashion, apparel, or textiles and enjoys a busy environment where logistics, documentation, and cross-functional coordination are part of everyday work.
Core Duties
In this position, you will manage shipment movement between factories, warehouses, and customers across domestic and international routes. You will also handle customs paperwork, freight bookings, transportation coordination, and issue resolution related to delays or discrepancies.
You will review and process customer and production orders, create and maintain purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics AX, and confirm that quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines are correct.
The role also includes checking product costing, validating freight and duty charges, maintaining accurate records in Microsoft Dynamics AX and related tools, and preparing logistics, inventory, and cost reports.
In addition, you will prepare and verify packing lists, commercial invoices, shipping files, and customs documentation, while supporting inventory tracking and stock reconciliation.
You will work closely with teams in Production, Sourcing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Warehouse operations, and help support seasonal launches and production schedules.
Compensation and Benefits
