Lead, Strategy Manager, Corporate

Role overview

This position is for a Corporate Strategy Manager who will partner with Nike’s senior leadership to shape growth strategies that influence top-priority initiatives across major business areas, regional markets, and Nike, Inc. brands.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis and due diligence for new growth opportunities and turn findings into clear, practical recommendations.
• Drive strategic workstreams using strong hypotheses and structured problem-solving methods, going beyond research and data gathering to generate real insight.
• Help senior leaders and their teams move from strategy to execution by supporting action planning and follow-through.
• Guide senior stakeholders through complex and uncertain situations, while managing cross-functional project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Work with teams across the business to build business review materials, scorecards, and content for strategic workshops.

What the role involves

The role is closely aligned with Nike’s Senior Leadership Team and works extensively with Finance, Insights & Analytics, Corporate Development, and other strategy partners across the organization.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Applied Science, or a related discipline is required. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may also be considered.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, corporate development, or business development.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex strategic initiatives and working through a disciplined approach to problem identification, research, option development, and action planning.
• Strong ability to bring together people with different priorities and lead constructive discussions.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build shared understanding and support change.
• Comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and setbacks, along with a strong bias for action.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity and a growth mindset.
• Background in business development, quantitative and qualitative analysis, strategic planning, cross-functional project management, data analysis, financial modeling, and market analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel modeling, as well as Keynote and Tableau.
