Lead II SE- Backend Dev (Node JS, Typescript, Graph QL)

Role overview

This position is for a seasoned backend engineer who can build and support scalable server-side applications with Node.js and cloud-first design principles. The role focuses on creating dependable backend services and APIs on modern AWS infrastructure.

Core requirements

• Strong practical experience using Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
• Proven ability to create GraphQL-based services.
• Working knowledge of AWS and infrastructure-as-code approaches such as CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of backend systems that are scalable, secure, and designed for high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and support backend services written in Node.js.
• Develop and maintain APIs, including REST and GraphQL interfaces, for use by frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Set up cloud infrastructure and delivery workflows with AWS infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Improve the speed, security, and stability of backend platforms.
• Work in coordination with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product stakeholders.

Preferred experience

• Experience working with microservices-based systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD processes and automated release pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS monitoring and logging utilities.
