Role overview

People Solutions VN is hiring a Junior Math professional to support game mathematics work for slot and similar game formats. The position involves building mathematical models, validating game behavior through simulations, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure the model outcomes match business requirements.

What you will do

• Build and update mathematical models, ideally using Excel.
• Write simulation code to test games and gather statistical outputs such as hit frequency, average payout, and win distribution.
• Partner with the head of maths or lead mathematician to design models and simulation logic for slot games.
• Tune game numbers and statistics so they align with business goals.
• Coordinate with other development teams to identify, explain, and resolve issues.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in game mathematics or a closely related area.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience creating mathematical models for games.
• Practical exposure to different game structures, including line-based games, ways games, cluster games, or comparable formats.
• Strong communication, analytical, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teammates and cross-functional partners.
• Advanced Excel skills for building game math models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or C#, with C# preferred for game simulation work.
