About the Opportunity
A UK-based business with an established creative function is hiring a Junior Graphic Designer for a part-time, fully remote position. This opportunity is aimed at early-career designers who want to gain hands-on experience within a supportive internal creative environment.
Role Overview
In this position, you will assist the broader design team with everyday production tasks, including social media creative, marketing visuals, and straightforward brand-aligned design work.
Key Responsibilities
- Create day-to-day design materials with support and direction from senior designers.
- Develop graphics for social channels, marketing campaigns, and internal communication needs.
- Use established brand rules consistently across all design outputs.
- Assist in organising design libraries, templates, and shared creative assets.
- Work collaboratively using remote communication tools and video meetings.
- Respond well to feedback and refine work based on revisions.
- Strengthen knowledge of brand usage and production-quality design practices.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has a design qualification or a portfolio showing student, personal, or equivalent creative work. You should be confident using Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and have a keen visual sense along with a willingness to learn. Strong written English, good organisation, reliability, and openness to feedback are important. As this role is home-based, you should also be self-driven, have a dependable internet connection, and a suitable workspace.
Desirable Experience
Exposure to tools such as Figma, Canva, or motion graphics software would be an advantage. Personal projects or freelance examples that demonstrate initiative are also welcome.
