Role Overview
Progressive Trading is seeking a driven and detail-focused Junior Accountant to support its expanding operations in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting tasks and wider finance operations.
- Draft invoices, quotations, and routine financial statements or reports.
- Keep accounting records complete, organized, and up to date.
- Follow up with suppliers and customers on payment-related matters.
- Help the finance department with administrative and clerical work.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance is expected.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts and accounting software is necessary.
- Strong organization and communication abilities are important for this role.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools is required.
- The ability to work on your own as well as with a team is essential.
Preferred Skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Capability to handle time well and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Exposure to Odoo will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial reporting workflows.
