Purpose of the role

The main objective is to direct the rollout, integration, tuning, and reliable performance of restaurant applications, AI platforms, and IT infrastructure so that they scale well, remain secure, and support business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of core restaurant platforms, including POS, ERP, HRMS, CRM, and AI-based systems.
• Coordinate integrations between finance, HR, loyalty, payment, and delivery partner systems from start to finish.
• Maintain strong application uptime, stability, and performance across all branch locations.
• Manage system administration, user access controls, IT security, compliance, and data governance practices.
• Advance AI-powered capabilities for forecasting, workforce optimization, and customer insight generation.
• Supervise cloud environments, IT infrastructure, backup processes, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Lead technology setup for new outlets, including system deployment, upgrades, and data migration efforts.
• Oversee technical support delivery, ensure SLA adherence, resolve incidents, and maintain business continuity coverage.
• Handle vendor relationships, contract performance, governance reporting, KPIs, budget planning, and long-term technology roadmaps.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of IT experience is needed, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity overseeing enterprise applications and infrastructure in a multi-location environment.
• Practical exposure to restaurant technology platforms such as POS, ERP, HRMS, and CRM is important.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, cloud services such as Azure or AWS, and reporting tools like Power BI is expected.
• Strong familiarity with system integrations, payment gateways, and delivery aggregator platforms is needed.
• A working understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and Saudi PDPL compliance is required.
• Professional credentials such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, AWS, or cybersecurity certifications are considered beneficial.
• Strong capability in leadership, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and project delivery is essential.

Work location

This is an onsite position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
