Role Overview
This part-time remote opportunity is for an HR specialist who will support day-to-day workforce administration for one of the client organizations. The position focuses on handling employee queries, keeping HR documentation organized, and making sure people processes follow relevant employment rules. Candidates should already have experience in human resources or a closely related area.
Responsibilities
- Answer staff questions about benefits, workplace policies, and internal procedures.
- Keep personnel records, files, and other HR documents accurate, up to date, and confidential.
- Support the hiring and exit process for employees joining or leaving the company.
- Track adherence to applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Work with managers to resolve workplace concerns and recommend improvements to HR processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HR policies and employment legislation is essential.
- Previous exposure to HR software or employee databases is an advantage.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities are needed.
- Must be able to manage confidential employee information responsibly.
- Hands-on experience in a comparable HR support position is required.
