Role overview

The States of Guernsey is hiring HR Administrators to support the full HR service. This position plays a key part in day-to-day HR administration across HR Operations, Organisational Development, and Employee Relations & Reward.

The postholder will work within the updated HR operating model and will be responsible for delivering essential administration that supports the employee lifecycle to a consistently high standard.

Key duties

  • Provide broad administrative support across the HR function.
  • Assist with tasks linked to HR Operations, Organisational Development, and Employee Relations & Reward.
  • Prepare correspondence and other written HR documents.
  • Enter and maintain data accurately and monitor HR systems.
  • Keep records and related databases up to date.
  • Gather information and compile material for reports.
  • Prepare information packs and carry out related actions for formal processes.
  • Handle redaction, proofreading, and similar document checks where required.
