Housekeeping Associate

Role Overview

This position is part of the housekeeping and laundry team at a Marriott property in Goa. The role focuses on keeping guest rooms, public areas, and the overall hotel environment clean, orderly, and welcoming so that guests enjoy a memorable stay.

What You Will Do

• Handle a variety of housekeeping duties across the hotel, including guest rooms and shared spaces.
• Respond to guest requests and support day-to-day room and area readiness.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain supplies needed for smooth operations.
• Keep the property looking neat, clean, and presentable at all times.
• Carry out other reasonable housekeeping tasks as assigned.

Working Style and Physical Requirements

The role requires active movement throughout the shift, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items. You should be comfortable working hands-on and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies, keeping information confidential, and presenting yourself professionally are essential parts of the job.
